A carefully planned approach
Last updated: 24 September 2026. We plan children's photography with the parent, guardian or responsible school contact. School assignments follow the school's safeguarding, supervision and photography policies. The purpose, authorised contacts, permissions and arrangements for the shoot are agreed before photography takes place.
Consent and choices
Our studio requires parental or guardian consent for children's photography. For school work, arrangements must identify children who must not be photographed or whose images have restricted use. Please tell the responsible school contact or the studio about any relevant restriction before the session. Consent to a photograph being taken is separate from consent to public use.
During the session
Photography takes place within the agreed setting and supervision arrangements. Any individual access, supervision or staffing requirements should be raised during planning. If you have a concern during a school session, contact the school's designated safeguarding lead or responsible staff member immediately; you may also contact the studio.
Storage and delivery
School bookings set out the permitted use, authorised recipients, gallery access, transfer, retention and deletion arrangements for the images. Access requirements should be agreed before the assignment. Please do not send children's personal details through the website enquiry form; contact us to arrange how necessary information should be shared.
Publication
We never publish images of minors in our portfolio, on our website or in promotional material without explicit written consent from a parent or guardian. Identifying captions and any location details require separate consideration and appropriate permission. To raise a concern or discuss withdrawal of permission, email info@fireflypixelstudio.com or call 07436652526.
School requirements
Schools can share their supplier requirements and request relevant documentation during planning. The agreed booking records any specific staffing and safeguarding arrangements. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling and privacy rights.
